Mr. Fry presented a space request from Ms. Liz Hosier for a location to conduct on-going SCT product training. The discussion that followed dominated the remainder of the meeting. Mr. Fry noted that space is currently needed for Institute for Political Leadership, Institutional Research and Payroll. Since no additional space is available on campus, the New Centre facility was discussed as a potential site for these four functions. Ms. Boyd was asked to have Ms. Kay Ward review Financial Aid Imaging needs and provide the committee with a report on square footage requirements and possible locations for this function. Mr. Miller was asked to have Ms. Hosier give specific requirements for the SCT training facility. The Committee identified the suite of offices (NC –112) next to the Public Service Conference Room as a potential location for IOPL. Mr. Fry will discuss this recommendation with the Chancellor and Mr. Lanier.
