| Minutes of the March 21, 2001 Meeting | |
Attending: Rowell, Farley, Hosier, Boyd, Dodd, Fry, Kolodij, Bianco, and Base
Much of what was discussed at this meeting is summarized in the report to the March 22nd report to the Administrative Cabinet.
Additional items covered included discussion of questions, concerns and comments presented by Carolyn Farley. The issue related to dissemination of decisions to the university community was presented to Administrative Cabinet. Mr. Fry's opinion is that in making these decisions, the cabinet has responsibility for determining how information is distributed. Chancellor asked Mr. Fry to prepare a summary of all the decisions that have been made to date. This summary will be reported to the Cabinet at its next meeting.
The Committee discussed communication issues related to when and how external parties (senior officers and/or division members) are to be briefed on the group's discussions. It was suggested that a recorder be added to the group and each issue needing input from or discussion with external parties be noted in the Committee minutes.
Next Committee meeting will be on March 28nd at 7:30 AM in Alderman 211.
