2008-2009 Academic Year Scholarship Application

The deadline for the 2008-09 school year has passed, all applications received after the deadline will be considered for next year's selection.

Send two references to us at our mailing address using our special recommendation form available in PDF format.

Merit Scholarship Online Application Form

This application must be completed by all who wish to be considered for UNCW Alumni Association merit scholarships. The submitted application below, a certified transcript of the applicant’s high school and/or college record and two completed “Recommendation for Award” forms must be received in the Alumni Relations Office by 5 p.m. Friday, March 14, 2008. It is the applicant’s responsibility to make sure all the necessary forms and records have been submitted to the Alumni Relations Offi ce by the deadline. To be eligible for the undergraduate and graduate awards, applicants must have a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale on all high school and/or college work. Applicants may be in-state or out-of- state. The awards will cover up to $1,500 for tuition and fees.
