Ann Conner is a nationally acclaimed artist
best known for her seductive and formally challenging color woodcuts.
Using non-endangered native wood and brilliant palettes, Conner creates
colorful, conceptualist woodcuts that employ the intrinsic grain of
the wood. Recent exhibitions include New Prints 2009/Spring - Selected
by Polly Apfelbaum, IPCNY, International Print Center New York; Boston
Printmakers’ 2009 North American Print Biennial; Kaleidoscope:
Changing Views of the Permanent Collection, Cameron Art Museum, Wilmington
NC, 2009; Contemporary Printmakers, Curfman Gallery, Colorado State
University, FT Collins, CO, 2008; Pulp Friction, Contemporary Works
