Terms and Conditions

All registered students must obtain a UNCW One Card. You must have the UNCW One Card for identification purposes while attending the University of North Carolina Wilmington. The UNCW One Card is required to access university facilities, services, campus sponsored events, purchase/use various cardholder accounts, and receive student associated discounts. After completion of this application and verification of identity, you will receive an official UNCW One Card and thereafter are fully responsible. The UNCW One Card is not transferable and must be carried with you at all times. Lost or stolen cards should be reported immediately via the Seahawk Buck$ Online Management Center (www.uncw.edu/onecard), or by calling Auxiliary Services (910) 962-7752, or University Police (910) 962-2222 after 5 p.m. I understand that my student account will be charged in the amount of $20.00 for my UNCW One Card and/or any replacement cards.

I accept the terms and conditions of the UNCW One Card stated as follows: I understand that my Seahawk Buck$ account stays active until I choose to close the account by completing the Seahawk Buck$ Refund Request Form or until I separate from the university. At which point, I understand that it is mandatory that I close my Seahawk Buck$ account.

If I fail to close my Seahawk Buck$ account when I separate from the university and my Seahawk Buck$ account balance is greater than $50.00, I understand that I will receive written notification, at my last known address on file with the University, regarding my Seahawk Buck$. I also understand that my unclaimed balance is subject to my student account being paid in full. I am fully aware that if I do not submit proof of claim within 15 days of receipt of the notification letter, my unclaimed balance, less a $25.00 administrative fee, will be relinquished to the North Carolina Department of State Treasurer to whom all further claims must be directed.

If I fail to close my Seahawk Buck$ account when I separate from the university and my Seahawk Buck$ balance is less than $50.00, I understand that my unclaimed balance, less a $25.00 administrative fee will be relinquished to the North Carolina Department of State Treasurer to whom all further claims must be directed. I also understand that my unclaimed balance is subject to my student account being paid in full.
