Park and Ride Park and Ride Zones UNCW has two Park and Ride zones:
These zones provide more than 600 spaces and feature a lower price tag than the full-time commuter permits, to compensate for their off-campus location. Park and Ride permit holders are restricted to their assigned Park and Ride zone lots from 7 a.m. – 4 p.m. Monday – Friday. You can still park on campus after 4 p.m. and on weekends with a valid parking permit.* So when you're studying late at the library or attending an after-dark activity, you may move your car to a convenient campus spot. *All parking on campus is by permit only. All permit holders are allowed to park in any non-reserved commuter, faculty or staff space on weekdays between 4 p.m. and 7 a.m. and on weekends. Commuter permit holders cannot park in resident zones/lots (designated by colors: Blue, Teal, Black, Brown and Gold) at any time. Rules concerning loading zones, handicap spaces, reserved spaces and fire lanes apply 24 hours a day. Park and Ride Shuttle Service
Check out the shuttle map to plan your route to class and to obtain additional information and routes. And remember, you can secure your bike on the shuttle bicycle rack for quick access from point A to point B once on campus. Shuttle service is available to both Park-and-Ride lots. The shuttle is available on Mondays through Thursdays from 7 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. and on Fridays from 7 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Shuttles run every 8 minutes or so from the Park and Ride lots to campus. Express shuttles run between the Park and Ride lots to campus from 7:30 a.m. until 5 p.m.
