Printing Services provides papers that have been certified by forest programs striving to stop damage to the world's forest by promoting environmental responsibility. Many of the papers purchased by Printing Services also feature recycled paper content. Read more.
Print Shop:
- Use of FSC/SFI certified paper and/or recycled paper
- Reusing press setup sheets multiple times before recycling
- Recycle paper to scratch pads for free distribution on campus
- Recycle empty metal ink cans
- Used press imaging oil goes to an EPA approved recycler
- Preference is given to eco-friendly consumables
- Utilize reusable equipment cleaning rags
- Approximately 400 lbs. of trim
paper, etc. per week are recycled
Dittos:
- Use of FSC/SFI certified paper and/or recycled paper
- Recycle

- Copier replacement parts are frequently remanufactured

iPrint:

- Default
to double-sided printing.
(While students are using iPrint stations for their printing more than ever, the stations actually have experienced a 35 percent reduction in paper usage for the Fall 2008 semester because of the double-sided default.) - Participate in manufacturer recycling programs for used imaging units
