Britt A. Preyer was appointed to the UNCW Board of Trustees by the UNC Board of Governors to a term ending in 2009. He serves as a member of the audit committee, external affairs committee, and educational planning and programs committee.

A resident of Greensboro, Preyer has been in the financial industry for 27 years, the last 16 with Raymond James Financial Services. He is a graduate of Davidson College.

Preyer is a member of the UNCW Board of Visitors, UNCG Excellence Foundation, Presbyterian Homes Foundation, Richardson Corporation Board of Directors and several other charitable trusts and foundations.
