The University of North Carolina's Centro Hispano has recognized the need to develop a comprehensive and regional effort to facilitate the success of the Hispanic/Latino community of Southeastern North Carolina as well as the broader community.  

Our hope is that together we can be a catalyst for building a strong network of people and organizations that truly care about Hispanic/Latino issues during a time of increasing demographic change and uncertainty.

Our vision is that through our collaboration, coordination, and empowerment, local citizens and organizations that care about the Hispanic/Latino community can create positive change in areas of education, economic prosperity, health care, and safety, among others.
