News of undergraduate students who graduated in 2005 and left the lab has been great: Allison Cavenaugh has initiated her studies at dental school at UNC Chapel Hill, Kristina Knoelke has been admitted to pharmacy school, also at Chapel Hill. Velvet Journigan is working toward her PhD in medicinal chemistry at the University of Mississippi.

In May of 2006, two undergraduate honors students graduated from the lab: Monica Lassiter, who will join the PhD program in biophysics at UNC Chapel Hill, and Dan Freed, who will join the PhD program in Chemistry at the University of Virginia, both starting in the Fall of 2006.
