In the Spring of 2009, UNCW's Center for Marine Science will be sponsoring both undergraduate and graduate student exchange with the University of Southampton in the United Kingdom. This exchange program offers students the opportunity to study marine sciences abroad at the U.K.'s leading marine research institution while receiving degree credit!

its teaching and learning activities. The university, founded in 1862, has an enrollment of nearly

Southampton is one of the most lively and
dynamic cities in the south of England. It offers a
vibrant and varied nightlife, numerous leisure facilities,
superb heritage attractions, bustling marinas,
beautiful parks and great places to eat and
drink.
This university provides a wealth of social
and leisure activities for students with their own
