Majors (and double-majors) in the Department of Communication Studies may complete honors work in two separate ways.  The first option can be pursued by taking a required number of basic studies and elective courses through the UNCW Honors Scholars Program.  The second option is to complete a departmental honors projects via enrollment in COM 499. The first option allows you to graduate with Honors.  The second option allows you to graduate with honors in your major.  You may also elect to do both options.
