Teacher Workdays & Spring Break Camps

New programming for children grades 2 - 5 (ages 7-11)

Join our MarineQuest staff for a day or a week on teacher workdays or school breaks. MarineQuest offers quality programming that is fun and academically enriching.  Activities include laboratory experiments, field trips, arts and crafts, games, reading, movies and more.  Each workday will have a seasonal theme and feature a different marine organism.

 
Time: 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Dates:
February 18 Relationships in the animal world (Single Day)
March 24 Invasive species along our coast (Single Day)
March 24-28 Week-long marine biology camp (Specifically for year round school kids) 
April 7-11 Week-long marine biology camp (traditional school calendar students) 

Cost: $40 teacher workday (includes all supplies, pizza lunch and a snack)

MarineQuest staff with blue crab
8:30 a.m.  opening presentation of theme
9:00 a.m.  lab investigation
10:00 a.m. snack break
10:15 a.m.  field investigation
11:00 a.m.  clean up
11:30 a.m.  lunch
12:15 p.m. clean up/ depart for field site
12:45 p.m.  arrive at field site
2:45 p.m.  depart field site for CMS
3:15 p.m. arts & crafts/video/games
3:45 p.m.   clean up
4:00 p.m.  pick up at CMS/ check-out
