Summer Theatre and Creative Dance Camp, ages 8 - 12

Creative Theatre Camp is a week of dramatic expression that goes beyond your limits; it's learning how to act on your feet in a group setting. It's a week of acting that is sure to spark your creative genius. And it's a whole lot of fun! What Would Happen If 24 kids, ages 8 - 12, were stranded for one week on a deserted stage with no sets, no props, no costumes and no script? Could they create an original drama and present it to their family and friends by Friday? Sign up and see! In five consecutive mornings, learn to act on your feet, interact with a group and collaborate with others on a one-of-a-kind, never-before-seen, original drama. Play with the tools used by professional actors and comedians - improvisation, pantomime, theatre games, movement and non-verbal communication - to sharpen your talents. Walk in as a solo act, and walk away as a member of a tight-knit ensemble.
