Students between the ages of 12-16 will meet with professionals to learn how to start and manage a business in a fun environment. YEP engages students in an ongoing series of interactive and experiential activities geared toward business.
- Phase one (summer session) consists of introductory entrepreneurial training based on a progressive business curriculum. Download the YEP schedule | pdf
- Phase two (fall session) includes a comprehensive training curriculum, guidance in business implementation, and participation in the business simulation competition. The program is sponsored by the Cameron School of Business, Partners for Economic Inclusion (PEI), the Upperman African American Cultural Center (UAACC), Gerry McCants of Black Pages and the Daniels family, local entrepreneurs.
