Must have completed kindergarten and be 6 by May 1st
Send your young adventurer on an exciting Sea Safari through the four habitats of a barrier island. They’ll hunt for the wild animals and plants that survive in each habitat and discover the 'big game" of our marine environment.
Activities include:
- Field trips to the beach, marsh, fouling station, carnivorous plant bog, Center for Marine Science and NC Aquarium.
Highlights include:
- Learn how to read a map and compass, how to track animals, go shell hunting in the splash zone; go seining and dip netting.
