Jeremy Burnett - Program Coordinator

Jeremy joins the MarineQuest team from the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina where received his B.S. in Outdoor Education (2002) and M.B.A. (2006) from Montreat College. With over 7 years of programming experience, his passion for creating experiential educational opportunities for youth has lead to some new and exciting programs at MarineQuest. While not in the office, he spends his time with his wife and daughter enjoying the many benefits of living at the coast including fishing and beachcombing.

Justin Speaks - Educator

Justin received his B.S. in Marine Biology from UNCW in 2007 and has been working with MarineQuest ever since. He puts his degree to good use as an educator for groups of all ages, as well as developing new lessons and programs. He is also a licensed kayak instructor, and enjoys leading paddlers through the Masonboro sound. Scuba diving is another of his hobbies, and he can be seen diving in the Cape Fear Shoals exhibit at the N.C. Aquarium on Saturdays.

Joe Oliver - Seawater Systems Specialist

Joe received his undergraduate degree in Marine Biology from UNCW and is currently taking graduate classes there, furthering his already extensive knowledge of the marine sciences. In his free time he reads, goes spearfishing, surfs, swims, and cooks.
