Teaching:
Dr. Gamble teaches GGY 230 Weather and Climate, GGY 333 Applied Climatology, GGY 383 Geography of the Caribbean, GGY 384 Caribbean Field Experience, GGY 422/522 Remote Sensing in Environmental Analysis, and GGY 433 Weather Analysis and Forecasting.

Research Interests:
Dr. Doug Gamble’s interests include applied climatology and hydrology, island/coastal environments, and the Southeast and the Caribbean. His current research topics include of the hydroclimatology of the Bahamas and the Northern Caribbean, weather patterns and rainfall chemistry in Wilmington, and development of a coastal climatology for NC and the Southeast.
