Assistive Technology Workshops - Spring 2010
The Watson School of Education’s Assistive Technology Demonstration and Lending Site will be hosting a series of free workshops again during the Spring. Please see the attached schedule for topics and the dates and times of the workshops. More information on each workshop can be found at: http://uncw.edu/ed/assist/events.html
We are now located in the Airlie Commons Building, 1612 Military Cuttoff Road, Wilmington, NC 28403. We will are on the second floor – room 201 of the building (Woodlands Bank is on the first floor of the building). To get to our new location from Eastwood Road (US-74 E), you will turn right onto Military Cuttoff Road and the building will be on your right (immediately past the Hangers and the Carwash).

Theory-to-Practice Workshops for Spring 2010
WSE students are invited to attend Theory-to-Practice workshops this semester. The FREE workshops offer hands-on, interactive activities that you may use in you field placements and in your own classrooms. All workshops will be held in the Education Lab-EB 130. Registration priority is given to students currently registered in Ed Lab courses. Space is limited to twenty participants in each workshop. Click here to view the Workshop PDF flyer.

Poverty Simulation Workshops
Poverty Simulations will be offered this semester for our education students. Please encourage their attendance and feel free to participate or volunteer. The dates/times are as follows:
