Academic Interests  

Dr. Atkins is the composition coordinator.  His research interest/s include composition theory and pedagogy, professional communication, visuality, writing technologies, and classical and modern rhetorical theory.  His current research focuses on the use of Facebook and Web 2.0 technologies as tools for collaborative student research projects.
