Standards for Shared Governance on the Campuses
The Assembly is considering a checklist of
minimum
criteria for governance that are expected to exist on every campus.
The Quran reading at UNCCH and Academic Freedom
Academic freedom was threatened by legislation
proposed in the North Carolina
General Assembly. After gaining national
attention, that threat was eliminated
with the removal of the proposal.
