When you call you are first greeted by one of our phone attendants. The attendants help you determine with whom you need to speak regarding your specific issue, and may be able to provide some assistance. They may transfer you to the appropriate counselor. Please note that during peak hours and our busy season you may have to leave a detailed message for your counselor. We promise the counselor will return your call as soon as is reasonably practical. If you must see your financial aid counselor, the phone attendant helps you schedule an appointment.
When you visit our office in the Warwick Center, you are greeted by a front desk attendant. The attendant asks you to sign in, so that we have record of your name and time of visit. The attendant helps you determine who you need to see, and may be able to provide some assistance. If you need to speak with a counselor there is always a Counselor of the Day available to meet with you. If you must see your personal financial aid counselor, the front desk attendant helps you schedule an appointment.
In order to provide better and more personalized service, students, both active and prospective, should use the following listing to identify their financial aid counselor. Each alphabetical grouping, e.g., A-G, represents students with last names beginning with those letters. Veteran Students ( i.e., those active or prospective students entitled to veterans educational benefits), Student Athletes, Teacher Certification, and Graduate Students are not included in the alphabetical groupings and are considered as one group. These four groups have their own counselor.
- If you are receiving Federal Veterans Education Benefits then your counselor, despite your name, will be Shannon Miles.
- If you are a Student Athlete your counselor, despite your name, is Kathleen Fritz (unless you are a Veteran).
- If you are a Graduate Student or in the Teacher Certification program then your counselor, despite your name, is Kay Pugh (unless you are a Veteran).
