Garland Homestead: p. 1

The Garland Homestead, West Salem, Wisconsin The Garland Homestead, which Garland bought in 1893 and remodeled several times, is now a National Historical Landmark and is maintained by the West Salem Historical Society. The Homestead has been restored with the original furnishings, many of which Garland made himself. And many of Garland's books are shelved throughout the house.
