Thesis/Dissertation Manuals

 

All Theses and Dissertations are required to be submitted to the Graduate School in electronic PDF form. Electronic Thesis and Dissertation (ETD) Manual

In addition, your Department or Program may require a hard copy of your thesis. In this case the hard copy should follow the formatting of the Guideline for Department Required Thesis and Dissertation Manual.

 

 

Procedures

Step 1

• Have your completed thesis/dissertation draft formatting reviewed by your thesis/dissertation advisor.
• E-mail a draft copy of your thesis to hollandn@uncw.edu for format approval
• Mail or hand deliver a Format Approval Sheet, signed by your committe chair, to the Graduate School.
  
  

Step 2

• Once formatting is approved you may schedule your defense.
  
  

Step 3

• E-mail a final electronic thesis in PDF format to hollandn@uncw.edu.
• Mail or hand deliver one title page signed in ink by all committee memebers.
• Mail or ETD submission form to the Graduate School by the posted date.
