Dr. Kimberly Cook, chair of the Department of Sociology and Criminology, attended the Australian-American Fulbright 60th Anniversary Colloquium, held at the Australian Embassy in Washington, DC on October 9, 2009.

As a recipient of the Fulbright award in 2001, Dr. Cook spent 2001 at the Australian National University. At the colloquium, current and past Fulbright scholars spoke on how the significance of the Fulbright in their professional and personal lives. The meeting highlighted the collaborative research and personal relationships that result from the Fulbright experience.
