Study Abroad Ambassador Program

Share your passion for study abroad! At the start of each academic year, study abroad returnees will be invited to apply to the Ambassador Program. Ambassadors assist the Office of International Programs with promoting study abroad and preparing future participants.

 

International Student Association (ISO)

An international organization that invites membership from all international and U.S. students. Provides fun events, outings and social gatherings as a way of integrating international students in the life of UNCW and the surrounding community.

Live and learn in an international community at UNCW.


Conversation Partner & Host Families

Discover a world of friendship! Be a conversation partner or host family for an international/ student.

 

International Student Mentor Program

Assist an international student as they become familiar with life at UNCW. A great opportunity for you to broaden your horizons and learn about a different culture.

 

The Full Belly Project

Wilmington's own International Development organization. This group teaches people in developing countries to build simple technology that will drastically improve their quality of life. Get involved by volunteering your talents!

 

International Education Week

A joint initiative between the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education that was launched in 2000 as an effort to promote programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and to attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn, and exchange experiences in the United States.
