ITSD provides Symantec AntiVirus for all faculty, staff and students. It is highly recommended you download and install your copy for you personal computer using the instructions below.
- When prompted use your UNCW e-mail username (abc123@uncw.edu) and password to complete the download.
- If you have no Internet connection or have a dial-up Internet, you may bring a blank
CD-R to the Technology Assistance Center (TAC) to obtain a copy of the software. - Before attempting to install the AntiVirus programs, uninstall any previous antivirus programs or versions. If you have trouble uninstalling, use the Norton/Symantec Removal tool.

* If you attempt to download/install the 64-bit version of the software and you get an error regarding the version or if you get an error regarding a missing file please reboot your computer and then try to download the software again. If you still have an issue please contact the Technology Assistance Center (TAC) .
