Draperies and Masking:

- Fire Curtain (asbestos front drop) has manual operating lines on stage right, emergency line-cut releases on both sides, as well as temperature-activated releases in the grid
Dressing Rooms:
- Four (4) dressing rooms, all stage left. Two on stage level, two on second level
- Each dressing room has toilet, sink, shower, incandescent lighting, make-up mirrors
- Make-up counters and clothing racks accommodate seven (7) per room
LIghting System:
- Power source is located DR, approximately 10' (3m) from proscenium arch. Company Connection/Road Show Power availability is two-200amp VAC fused disconnect switches, 3-phase 120/208 volt, 4-wire fed from one 400amp breaker, which also feeds the house light dimmers. (325 is available for company use when house lights are used.) This power supply can be used in addition to or separately from stage lighting system. Rated cold-water ground is adjacent to company connection. NO COMPANY PLUG IS AVAILABLE! Connection must be via hard-wired connectors to company's distribution box. Connection must be made by a University-certified electrician. A University electrician must make the connection, remain on site during all use, and disconnect.
- Control board, ETC 48/96, located in the rear of the balcony
- Patch control is computerized. Headset stations are available.
- All lighting positions require adapter from Twistlock to 2-pin and Ground 20 amp connectors.
- All electric trusses have two schedule 80 pipes. Instruments can be double hung (above and below the wireway) if desired.
- Balcony rail lighting is approximately 60' (20m) from the plaster line. A single circuit feeds six (6) PAR 56 units (Dimmer 13), used as curtain warmers.
- Ceiling ports, approximate 40' (13m) from plaster line, Dimmers 1 through 11.
- First Electric: 3' 8" (1.2m) upstage of plaster line. 11 twenty amp circuits on 1'6" (.5m) centers. Can be flown to floor. Dimmers 14 through 18 and 20-25.
- Second Electric: 10' 6" (3.6m) upstage of plaster line. 9 twenty amp circuits. Can be flown to floor. Dimmers 26 through 34.
- Third Electric: 21' 3" (7m) upstage of plaster line. 3 twenty amp circuits. Can be flown to floor. Dimmers 35 through 37.
- Fourth Electric: 29' (9.5m) upstage of plaster line. 5 twenty amp circuits. Prehung with four Altman three-bay cyc strips. Dimmers 38 thorugh 42.
- Floor pockets: Three positions on each side, under 1st, 2nd and 3rd electrics, paired circuits in each pocket. Dimmers 44 through 46 plus 48.
- Eight pipes (trees) available for sidelighting on stage. No boxbooms or diagonals in house.

Cable:
- Kenan Auditorium does not provide cable for the installation of your rental package. All feeder cable, and tapping Ts for the purpose of utilizing any portable dimmer racks, including those owned and retained by Kenan Auditorium, must be provided by the renter. All stage pin jumpers, twofers and adapters must also be provided for by the renter for the installation of your rental package.
- All DMX required for portable racks is also required to be provided by the renter
Gels:
The Kenan Auditorium does not supply color media. Being a state agency in a town with no theatrical supply house, purchasing and receiving color media requires an average of three weeks.
Communications:
Seven (7) ClearCom belt packs are available. Telephones are located SR, SL, and in the control booth.
