This symposium concerns singular perturbations and propagation of waves arising for example in fluid mechanics (low Mach number, low Rossby number, high Reynolds number. We study some phenomena such as the linear and nonlinear stability of boundary layers, the dynamics of singularity surfaces, the waves in random media, the short-wave or long-wave limit, the bifurcations....
