Jessica Miller holds a BM in Music Education with a Performance Certificate from the University of South Carolina, where she studied with Dr. Rebecca Nagel. While at Florida State University, she worked with Dr. Eric Ohlsson. Currently, Miller is the principal oboist with the Long Bay Symphony and is a frequent freelance player, and is also a part-time faculty member at Coastal Carolina University Other organizations she plays with include the Charleston Symphony Orchestra (South Carolina) and Augusta Symphony Orchestra (Georgia), and the South Carolina Philharmonic Orchestra. While living in Florida, Miller had the opportunity to perform with the Tallahassee, Pensacola, and Northwest Florida Symphony Orchestras.
