Proposal Development: Develop a Proposal |
Proposal development is shared between the Grants Development and Sponsored Programs areas within the Office of Research Services and Sponsored Programs. Faculty interested in identifying funding opportunities should contact the grants development officer or the proposal development coordinator. Available services include funding searches, budget development and review assistance, reviewing and editing proposals and proposal submission. Electronic proposal submission is managed by the proposal development coordinator in the Sponsored Programs office. There are several private on-line search engines available to faculty to utilize on their own schedule. The release of grants.gov now brings many federal opportunities together in a searchable database. Many federal agencies post their opportunities on their own websites as well. Faculty contemplating electronic submission of a proposal should contact the proposal development coordinator early.
