• Sketchpad Tutorial

  This page contains a tutorial covering some of the basic operations of the Geometer's Sketchpad program. It takes the reader through the steps of constructing the circumcircle of a triangle and then making a script of the construction which can be used to build the circumcircle of any triangle.

A Long Game

This page contains the simulation and analysis of a random walk problem. The problem came from a children's game called the Mountain Bike Rally published by the Burger King Kids Club. We have included java applets that allow the reader to play the one person version of the game, approximate the expected length of the n person game through a simulation, and compute the expected length of the n person game with partial sums of the appropriate series.

• Delaunay Triangulation

  Compute and display the Delaunay triangulation of a set of points scattered in the plane. The applet on this page allows you to add points and delete points while it updates the triangulation.

• Kaleidoscope Test

  (requires java 1.1 capable browser)

  This applet simulates a kaleidoscope by letting the user paint an image in an equilateral triangle, then tile a canvas with the image.
