Ashli Barefoot '08 is a Code Enforcer for the Town of Leland, NC.

Keeley Wikle ’07 has accepted a position with BearingPoint, Inc. as a Senior Management Analyst working on grants management in their Law Enforcement Sector.

Yvonne Janssen '06 recently accepted a position with Benchmark CMR in Kannapolis, a private enterprise that contracts community development, code enforcement, GIS, grant administration and planning services to communities across the state.

Brian Johnson is now the Federal Affairs Coordinator for Americans for Tax Reform. He will be completing his MPA from Washington.

Kathy Greene ’04 has accepted a position as Director of Nursing for a hospital system in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Matt Kunic ’06 has accepted a position as Transportation Planner for WAVE Transit.

Amber Parker has accepted a position as Training and Development Coordinator for Onslow County. She is leaving her Community Relations Director position for a chance to get some excellent experience in local government human resources management.

Chris Rogers has accepted a planning position with the Town of Shallotte.

Jeff Rose has accepted the position of Executive Director for The Full Belly Project, a locally based international development organization.

Niel Brooks has accepted a position as Planner with the Town of Leland. He will join UNCW MPA graduates Steven Spruill and Landon Barker (formerly Weinbach).

Recently Richard Sceiford accepted a position as Executive Director with the Carolina Civic Center in Lumberton, a 1920s era theater that serves as the cultural center for the community.  Richard will be overseeing a capital campaign and $3 million renovation effort, as well as developing multi-disciplinary programming, grant streams and engaging in economic and community development activities associated with Lumberton's revitalization.

Leigh Muscle has accepted a position as Development Associate for Planned Parenthood in the Wilmington area.  Leigh will be responsible for donor cultivation, fundraising, events planning, etc.
