Public Service Recognition

Public Service Recognition Week, celebrated the first Monday through Sunday in May since 1985, is a time set aside each year to honor the men and women who serve America as federal, state, local government or nonprofit employees.  For the past several years, the MPA program at UNCW and the Southeastern North Carolina chapter of the American Society for Public Administration have participated in this event by sponsoring a Public Service Recognition Reception.  The event is also being sponsored by a partnership effort between UNCW and the nonprofit community, Quality Enhancement for Nonprofit Organizations (QENO).
