Study abroad in the heart of Europe with courses taught in English at Zeppelin University. Zeppelin University is located in Friedrichsafen, a resort town on the shore of Lake Constance at the foot of the Alps in Southern Germany's Bavaria. Students can take a variety of graduate level Political Science and Public Administration courses. Additional courses in business, communication, and German available. The cost is your regular tuition at UNCW with additional study abroad fees. You may apply by visiting the UNCW Office of International Programs. South India - May 2010
Focus on Development and Globalization with Professor Paige Tan in South India. Students will experience business, governmental, and social aspects of the land. The 2010 trip includes 15 days of travel, leaving on May 9th. Students will also attend class every Friday afternoon during the Spring semester. So, apply and register for PLS 592: Study Abroad India. Applications are due by December 1, 2009.  The cost of the trip depends on the number of students enrolled, estimated around $3600. London/Rome - May 2010
Professor Dan Masters is complimenting his teachings in European Political Systems with an overseas trip to Britain and Italy.  Students will learn about British and Italian Parlimentary systems and the political histories of visited countries. Participants will also do some wonderful sightseeing including*: the Tower of London, Parliament, Stonehenge, Florence, etc. This trip is planned for May 2010. The total cost is $2900 which includes: roundtrip airfaire, hotel (10-nights in London, Rome and Florence), Meals (all breakfasts and 4 dinners), Ground transportation in Britain and Italy, insurance through UNCW (travel and medical), and UNCW study abroad program fee.
