Survey results are based on interviews with 482 respondents conducted between February 6
and February 11, 1999. The margin of error is +/- 4.6%.

New Hanover County/Wilmington Project Impact Public Attitudes and Preparedness Study, July-August, 1998
A telephone poll over 1200 randomly selected households in New Hanover County. It was supported by New Hanover County Emergency Management and UNCW. It surveyed efforts of households to reduce the damage resulting from hurricanes striking the area, especialy as those efforts were influenced by FEMA's Project Impact.
