These directions assume one can get to South College Road.  If you need directions to South College Road, scroll down below the map for more directions.  UNCW's address is 601 South College Road.  Follow the dashed yellow line on the map to the visitor parking area as follows: From South College Road turn in to the UNCW Campus on Randall Avenue.  Take the first right on to Wagoner Drive heading south.  After about two-tenths of a mile, a little green sign on the right will point to the visitor parking area.   Turn left at this sign in to the parking lot and proceed to the gatehouse.  The attendant will give directions.  After parking, walk north as indicated by the pink arrow to the building circled in yellow.  It will look like this on your approach.  The pre-engineering offices are on the second floor, near the northwest corner.  Be sure to collect a parking chit at the pre-engineering secretary's office to give the parking attendant when you leave.  For a larger map all academic buildings, follow this link.  A downloadable Acrobat pdf file of an "aerial view" campus map is also available here.

Coming from the North: Follow I-40 into Wilmington where it seemless transitions to South College Road.  Randall Avenue crosses South College at the seventh stoplight and is 2.8 miles south of the interstate sign that marks the end of I-40.  It is 2.3 miles from the first stop light.  Turn left into campus and follow the directions above. 

Coming from the West: Routes 17 and 76 merge in to one highway to cross the bridge in to Wilmington over the Cape Fear River.  Follow route 76 until it crosses South College Road.  Turn left on to South College and travel 1.5 miles to Randall Avenue.  Turn right in to campus and follow the directions above.
