I need a copy of my transcript.
For official copies of your transcript, please see our Transcript Requests page. Unofficial copies (i.e. for academic advising) are available on SeaNet.

How much do you charge for transcripts?
There is a $5.00 charge for each transcript, payable by cash, check payable to UNCW, VISA or MasterCard, or the UNSea Card.

I need a letter to certify that I am a student (i.e. for insurance).
You can print your own enrollment verification certificates through SeaNet. After signing on, follow the links to "Student Services & Financial Aid" and then to "Student Records." Enrollment verifications (or certification letters) may also be obtained in the Registrar's office in person or by a signed, written request.
NOTE: All enrollment certifications regarding student loan deferments are handled by the National Student Clearinghouse. See below.

I am a lender and would like verification that [name] is a current student.
All of our enrollment certifications for lenders are done through the National Student Clearinghouse. You may contact them at 703-742-7791 for more information.

Where can I get a Transient Study form?
The domestic transient study forms are now obtained online and the international study abroad forms are obtained through International Programs.

I have a hold on my account. Where do I take care of this?
You can view your holds on SeaNet.

I received a notice regarding a Tuition Surcharge. What is this?
The Tuition Surcharge applies to students that have attempted more than 140 credit hours, including withdrawn ('W') courses, repeated courses, and transfer credit.  For more information, go to our Tuition Surcharge page. Also, keep in mind that your notice may indicate only that you are approaching the 140 credit hour limit.
