If you have emergency deadlines or require expedited processing, please include a note to that effect along with your transcript request.

Your signature is required and if someone other than you is authorized to pick up the transcript, a note granting that permission must be presented.

Payment Options
The charge for each transcript is $5.00. Payment may be cash, check made out to UNCW, VISA or MasterCard, or the UNSea Card.
Methods for receiving transcripts
- First Class Mail through the United States Postal Services
- Express or Priority mail through the United States Postal Services:
Please include a prepaid priority mail envelope along with the request for the transcript. We are unable to accept credit card payments for priority or express mail. - Pick-up in the Registrar's Office during business hours (with picture ID)
Typical turn around time
- Requests are usually processed within two business days
- No transcripts will be produced for currently enrolled students during grading and graduation processing at the end of each term.
Note
If you have a ‘hold’ on your account, a transcript may not be processed. Holds include but are not limited to:
- Financial obligation to the University
- Failure to complete an exit interview for Student/Perkins Loan borrowers
- Default of institutional, state, or federal loan
