Professional Information

Dr. Glenn, the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs in the School of Nursing at the University of North Carolina Wilmington (SON), is responsible for all aspects of the academic programs and the overall development of the academic environment of the School of Nursing.  As Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, she fosters collaborative relationships among faculty and networking among the other schools and the college on campus as related to the academic programs in nursing and clinical research. She provides direct support to faculty and students in implementing the academic mission and goals of the SON.

Dr. Glenn is the recipient of grants which support e-learning programs, curriculum development, and faculty and student development.  She has authored or co-authored book chapters and abstracts published in conference proceedings.  She has consulted and presented professionally in the United States and internationally in Canada, England, Japan, Peru and South Africa.

Her scholarship interests and experiences focus on first generation student success in higher education, health and wellness behaviors among older adults, and cultural diversity in education and health care.
