SON Alumni Homecoming Brunch

School of Nursing alumni, special guests, and faculty met Saturday, January 28, 2006 at the Wise Alumni House for a brunch and alumni meeting.  Dean Virginia Adams welcomed  guests and led a brief introduction session that was followed by a brainstorming session and discussion on SON chapter revitalization and increasing public support of the Nursing program.

Todd Olesiuk, Alumni Relations, challenged those in attendance to assume alumni leadership roles and assist with the organization of other events and opportunities.  Dr. Ruth Anne Kuiper, Associate Professor,  spotlighted clinical laboratory simulation, including a video presentation of SON's various mannequins and exercises.

Dean Adams closed the brunch with a challenge to alumni to support the School of Nursing endeavors and to work along with the Nurse Advocacy Board and legislators to fulfill the School of Nursing Vision and Mission.
