Chapter Goals & Strategies

Goal 1: Promote the growth of Sigma Theta Tau International membership in all areas.
Strategies:
a. Increase Chapter involvement at orientation for new nursing majors.
b. Recruit diverse community leaders.
c. Initiate campaign to recruit inactive members.

Goal 2: Expand funding resources for research and scholarship.
Strategies:
a. Establish a strategic plan for financial growth and stability.
b. Create a trust fund for ongoing research and scholarship activities.
c. Provide financial assistance for members to attend national/international conferences.

Goal 3: Establish a database for knowledge (content expert), research and practice.
Strategies:
a. Identify coordinator to oversee development of nursing knowledge base.
b. Coordinate campaign to highlight nursing development knowledge base and request e-mail addresses
c. Develop Nu Omega research and practice expertise database.
