About the SOLC
The SOLC is a unique opportunity for student leaders to strengthen their leadership skills, network with other student leaders, and learn the ins-and-outs of running a successful student organization here at UNCW. This year we have put together a full schedule of quality workshops and presentations, an energetic keynote speaker and a resource fair that will cater specifically to your needs.
Why Attend the SOLC? The SOLC is a great leadership development opportunity, and it is a required step in the student organization re-registration process at UNCW. Each organization must send two representatives.

2008 Event Date: Saturday, September 20th
Check-in begins at 9:00am in the Burney Center Lobby and ends at 9:30am. Be sure to arrive on-time!

How much does the SOLC cost?
Since the conference is required by the University, we don't charge a registration fee. We figure, that's only fair.

The 2008 registration deadline is Friday, September 12. Registration forms will be included in the annual re-registration packet that is placed in every student organization's mailbox by August 18th.

SOLC Hurricane Date
In the event that the Student Organization Leadership Conference is cancelled due to a hurricane, September 27th will be the back-up date. If the conference does move to this hurricane date it will remain a requirement for re-registration so be sure to make arrangements accordingly.
