Web Nomination Form

The Division of Student Affairs staff awards program was established to give recognition to individuals, departments, and work groups displaying outstanding efforts.

Creating Experiences for Life

The Division of Student Affairs creed, “Creating Experiences for Life,” promotes well-being, personal development, and commitment to the common good through transforming experiences.  Staff and students are passionate about enriching campus life.  Our community actively and reflectively engages in healthy interactions that respect the diversity of individuals and groups.  We use emerging developmental theories, resources, and technology to thoroughly understand our students and their cultures.  The Division of Student Affairs is a valued and integral partner in the academic process.  We are a unique educational community fostering creativity and excellence.

The Awards Process

Each award is described below including previous award winners and criteria for the award.  A committee composed of one member of the Awards and Recognition Committee and members of the university community will select award recipients.  Awards will be announced at the division-wide end-of-the-year gathering.

The Nomination Process

You may nominate yourself or other individuals for each award.  The number of nominations received by the committees will NOT be considered.  The individual committee in their decision process will consider the quality of the nominations and how the individual meets the criteria for the award.  Please fill out the web form to nominate colleagues.  Link is provided at the top and bottom of this page.

If you would like to nominate a co-worker for an individual award and need more information, contact the individual’s supervisor or administrative support representative to receive appropriate information.  If there is a question regarding your nomination, you will be contacted.  Submit all nominations via this website, or to Nic Troutman, Housing and Residence Life. The deadline has been extended to Friday, April 27, 2007.
