Requirements & Restrictions for University based groups

  1. The Division of Student Affairs and the Department of Campus Recreation may cancel any reservation for any area/facility if conditions warrant such action. (i.e., repairs underway, interruption of utility services, dangerous conditions, inclement weather.) Reservations may be canceled even if weather conditions are good.
  2. Scheduled activities/reservations through the Department of Campus Recreation have priority over open recreation.
  3. Alcohol is not allowed on the premises without written approval from the Office of the Dean of Students.
  4. No glass containers are allowed.
  5. Skateboards, roller-skates, roller blades and/or bicycles are not allowed on the court areas (i.e., tennis and basketball).
  6. Motor vehicles are not allowed on outdoor areas.
  7. Participants/spectators are limited to the area (s) or facility reserved.
  8. Alteration of the area/facility (i.e., digging holes, driving in stakes or nails, fastening materials to walls, erecting platforms) require prior approval. (Dig Permits are required for all items that may need to go in the ground)
  9. Immediately following the activity, the area/facility must be cleaned of all debris and materials relative to or caused by the activity and its participants/spectators.
  10. The reserving organization is responsible for ingress/egress control. If the nature of the activity requires the presence of University Police Officers, the reserving organization must confirm with the Department of Campus Recreation arrangements made with the University Police.
