SPRING 2009 ADVENTURE TRIPS

Kayak/ Camp Masonboro Island

Come paddle out with us at 10:00am to Masonboro Island to spend the day exploring the area and setting up camp.  Watch the sunset and gaze at the night sky with friends before you hit the hay for the paddle back in the morning!  We will return Sunday at 11:00am.

Kayak Moore's Creek

Moore’s Creek begins in northwest Pender County and flows south, passing Moore’s Creek National Battlefield near Currie before joining the Black River. Moore’s Creek National Battlefield is a quarter-mile from the put-in.

Sunset Kayak to Masonboro Island

Masonboro Island parallels the shoreline between Wrightsville and Carolina Beach.  The sunset and gorgeous scenery on the island make for an incredible afternoon into evening paddle.  Join us for this unique experience.

Kayak Black River

The Black River is a tributary of the Cape Fear River that flows southeast from Clinton and meets the Cape Fear about 10 miles northwest of Wilmington.  The Black River’s remote slow-moving black water provides for a fun and beautiful paddle.
