Kayak Black River
Get away and experience an amazing ecosystem that is completely different from the coast, yet only one hour away. Paddle through the enchanting black water cypress swamp. The serene and mystical nature of the Black River will forever remind you that some things of immense beauty are still here and have not changed for hundreds of years. Great of beginners!

Kayaking & Camping in Croatan NF
The Croatan National Forest’s 160,00 acres have pine forests, saltwater estuaries, bogs and raised swamps called porcosins. Bordered on three sides by the Neuses River, the White Oak River and the Bogue Sound, this forest defined by water.

Kayak Sharkstooth Island
This paddle along Cape Fear River will amaze you! Locals call this old dredge spoils area Shark’s Tooth Island, and as the name implies, it’s easy to find tons of shark’s teeth here! Join us for an exciting paddle and an expedition to find a treasure to take home!
