 The Department of Campus Recreation offers leadership opportunities through student employment. Each year Campus Recreation employs approximately 200 student on a part-time basis. Students positions available include: Building Manager, Lobby Desk Assistant, Office Assistant, Fitness Attendants and Instructors, Personal Trainers, Group Exercise Instructor, Lifeguard, Intramural Sports Officials, Site Managers, and Sport Assistants, Campus Recreation Maintenance Crew, Discover Outdoor Office Assistant, Challenge Course facilitators, Climbing Wall Facilitators, and Trip Leaders.

Although most of our positions are hired in the latter part of the spring semester, Campus Recreation accepts applications throughout the year. Campus Recreation is always RECRUITING MOTIVATED STUDENTS to work in a variety of positions.

To be eligible for employment, you must be currently registered as an undergraduate or graduate student. The Department of Campus Recreation offers a very limited number of Work-Study positions. Please check the Financial Aid site for these listings. Screening of candidates will lead to an interview and those hired will then complete an orientation and training session specific to the area hired to work.
