CROSSROADS offers the Challenging Decisions course as part of its overall substance abuse prevention & education initiatives on campus. Challenging Decisions, like all CROSSROADS programs, focuses on personal exploration and non-judgmental information to help students make safe, healthy, and legal choices about alcohol and other drugs.
Completing the Challenging Decisions sanctions requires 3 parts:
1. Complete the “E-chug: Electronic Check-Up to Go” self-assessment
2. Attend the Challenging Decisions Class or Appointment
3. Complete the required 45-day Challenging Decisions post-test on-line survey.
Before attending the Challenging Decisions class, each individual must do two things:
Before CD Class Complete the “E-chug: Electronic Check Up to Go” self-assessment available on the CROSSROADS website.
Review the e-chug feedback. Go to the Resource tab.

After CD Class You will receive an email asking you to complete the Challenging Decisions Post-Test approximately 45 days after your CD Class.
This required post-test survey is designed to test the effectiveness of the Challenging Decisions class. This survey will ask you to answer questions about your substance use, your reasons for drinking, and your experiences in the recent past.
Your answers to these questions will go into an anonymous database. However, once you have completed the survey, you will have to enter your name to be entered into a second database to allow us to know that you completed the survey.
It is very important that you enter your name into the second database at the end of the survey in order for us to have a record that you completed the survey. |

As a reminder, if you miss your scheduled Challenging Decision class or are turned away from class for not completing steps 1 and 2, you will be charged a $50 re-schedule fee.
