 Off-Campus Appreciation Day  / Off-Campus Services Fair

Students at Commuter & Non-Trad Day 2004The first day of classes in the fall semester is always designated as Off-Campus Appreciation Day at UNCW. The focal point of this day is the Off-Campus Services Fair. Since almost all non-traditional students also commute from off-campus, this is also a great event for you!  National Non-Traditional Student Week

Each November, UNCW joins in the celebration of National Non-Traditional Student Week. Co-sponsored by the Seahawk Perch, UNCW's Non-Traditional Student Organization (NTSO), and UNCW's Student Veterans' Organization (SVO), the week is a wonderful opportunity to highlight the diversity of the non-traditional student population. It is also a time to inform the rest of the university community about the achievements and challenges of non-traditional students.

If you fit the profile of a non-traditional student, have at least 24 credits at UNCW, a 3.6 cumulative gpa, and meet other requirements, you may be eligible. (Applications are mailed to students who qualify each spring.) There are also scholarship opportunities available through Alpha Sigma Lambda.
